Browsing and Filtering the Leads Log
The Leads Log tab on the Leads page shows every internet lead in your system — whether it converted, was returned, or is still unmatched. Use it to search, filter, edit, and manage your lead data.
Navigating to the Leads Log
Open the Leads page from the sidebar, then click the Log tab (the third tab, after Conversions and ROI).
Table Columns
- Received Date — when the lead was received from the provider
- Lead Name — the prospect's name
- Provider — which lead provider sent this lead (Smart Financial, EverQuote, etc.)
- Type — Live Call or Data Lead
- Product — what product the prospect was interested in
- State — the prospect's state
- Zip — the prospect's zip code
- Current Insurer — who they're currently insured with (if provided)
- Call Duration — for live calls, how long the call lasted
- Cost — what the provider charged for this lead
- OOP Cost — out-of-pocket cost after subsidies (used in ROI calculations)
Status Filters
The status filter lets you quickly segment leads:
- Billable — active leads you paid for. These count toward your conversion rate.
- Non-billable — leads excluded from ROI calculations (test leads, non-chargeable records).
- Returned — leads you've filed for credit with the provider. The return is pending.
- Credited — leads where the provider approved your return. Cost is refunded.
- Duplicates — leads flagged as duplicates of existing leads.
Understanding these statuses is critical for accurate ROI reporting. Only billable leads count in the conversion-rate denominator.
Other Filters
- Date range — focus on a specific time period
- Lead type — Live Calls or Data Leads
- Provider — filter to a single lead provider
- State — filter by prospect state
- Product — filter by product line
Sorting and Searching
Click any column header to sort. The search box searches across lead name, provider, product, state, zip, insurer, and profile name. Sort by cost to find the most expensive leads, or by date for recent activity.
Editing Lead Records
Click the pencil icon on any lead to edit it inline. Update the lead name, provider, cost, subsidy, lead type, received date, product, and state. Changes save immediately and recalculate any affected ROI metrics.
Linking Leads to Sales
The link icon on each row opens a match modal where you can manually connect a lead to a sale. Useful when you know a lead converted but the automatic matching didn't catch it.

Tip. Filter to "Non-billable" status to review leads that might need to be filed for credit with your provider. Catching bad leads early within the provider's credit window saves money and improves your ROI.
