How to Export Your Dashboard as a PDF
The dashboard is great for the morning check. It's not great for a printed handout at a team meeting or a monthly review with your coach. That's what the PDF export is for.
In this guide:
- Step-by-step: export any dashboard in 3 clicks
- Which dashboards can be exported
- When to export vs. share the live view
- A few small tricks to make the PDF look sharp
Time to finish: 1 minute per export Best for: Owners and office managers.
Step 1 — Set the dashboard the way you want it
Whatever the dashboard is showing on screen is exactly what ends up in the PDF. So before you export:
- Pick the right date range (calendar month looks cleanest)
- Filter by product or producer if you want a scoped view
- Toggle on the year-over-year compare line if you want it in the chart
Step 2 — Click the Export button
Look for the Export PDF button in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Step 3 — Save the file
The PDF generates in 5–10 seconds and downloads to your computer. The file name is timestamped automatically — something like agencyiq-dashboard-2026-04.pdf — so you can archive them month over month.

What dashboards can I export?
| Dashboard | PDF shows |
|---|---|
| Main dashboard | All 6 KPI tiles, trend chart, leaderboard, activity feed |
| Producer profile | That producer's numbers, goals, pay |
| Sales trends | The 4 trend views |
| Internet lead ROI | Provider comparison, waterfall, spending |
| Pay statements | Per producer, per pay period |
There's also a Combined Monthly Report option that bundles the main dashboard, the leaderboard, and the monthly pay summary into one multi-page PDF. Most owners print that for Monday team meetings.
When should I export a PDF vs. share the live dashboard?
Export a PDF when...
- You're printing handouts for a team meeting
- You're emailing a monthly snapshot to your coach, accountant, or lender
- You want a frozen record for end of quarter or year
- You're presenting to carrier partners or a board
Share the live dashboard when...
- You're in a screen-share meeting with one producer
- You want the other person to click into specific policies
- Numbers are still moving and you want the latest view
Most agencies export monthly and use the live dashboard weekly.
What small tricks make the PDF look better?
Set the date range to a calendar month. "April 2026" reads cleaner on paper than "Last 30 days."
Toggle on year-over-year compare for trend charts. The dotted prior-year line reads well in print.
Use landscape orientation for the leaderboard view. More producers fit per page.
Add your agency logo. Agency branding on PDF exports is on the roadmap — for now, exports use AgencyIQ's default branding.
Can I schedule a monthly PDF to email automatically?
Not yet. Scheduled PDF delivery is planned for later this year.
For now: put a calendar reminder on the 1st of each month that says "export April PDF, email to coach." Takes 2 minutes.
Can I export just one producer's data?
Yes.
Go to the producer's profile page (click their name on the leaderboard) and click Export PDF. The output includes:
- Their month-to-date production
- Their pace on the year
- Their pay earned (if you're an owner viewing)
- Their product mix
- Their quote activity
This is the one we recommend printing for producer 1:1s. One page, everything they need to see.

Does the PDF leak confidential info?
No — it follows your login's access.
- Owner logged in: PDF includes pay numbers
- Producer logged in: PDF only shows their own data
- Service rep logged in: PDF shows production but no pay
If you're emailing the PDF to someone outside your agency, review it before sending. You can filter out specific producers or products before exporting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download the raw data too, not just the PDF?
Yes. Every chart and table has a separate Download CSV button. Use the PDF for presenting; use the CSV for your own analysis in Excel.
The PDF is cutting off my chart on the right side. What do I do?
Usually means the date range is too wide. Try a narrower range (one quarter instead of two years) or switch to landscape orientation in the export dialog.
Does the PDF look like the desktop or the mobile view?
Desktop, always. PDFs are built for printing, so they use the wider desktop layout no matter what device you triggered the export from.
Can I add notes or commentary to the PDF?
Not inside AgencyIQ. Open the PDF in Preview (Mac), Acrobat, or any PDF editor and add comments there. Many agencies add a one-page cover in Word before distributing.
How long does the PDF take to generate?
5–10 seconds for most dashboards. A Combined Monthly Report with lots of producers might take 15–20 seconds.
